Historic Lighthouses of The Bahamas

Historic Lighthouses of The Bahamas is part of the Tentative list of Bahamas in order to qualify for inclusion in the World Heritage List.

The Historic Lighthouses of The Bahamas are 11 lighthouses constructed by the British between 1836 and 1887. They facilitated the safe use of the Bahama Channels for as shipping lanes. Some of the lighthouses are stil in use and 9 of them have been automated.
